Craig Thomas Colton

Craig Thomas Colton, 49, of Sweeny, Texas, passed away Friday December 4, 2020. Craig will be honored with a graveside service at 2pm Saturday, December 12, 2020, at Gum Springs Cemetery in Flynn, Texas, with Certified Celebrant Dawn Lee Wakefield officiating. There will be a 30 minute viewing and visitation at the cemetery prior to the service. Services are in the care of Cozart Funeral Home of Normangee-Flynn-Hilltop Lakes communities.
Craig was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy and will receive military honors at the cemetery. He worked as an operator for Phillips 66 Petroleum Company. He will be remembered as a true outdoorsman with a special love for fishing and hunting.
Survivors include his children, Jayke McFarland and Sydni McFarland; parents, Jim and Carolyn Rice; granddaughter, Everlie McFarland; grandparents, O’Neal and Paulline Crowell; biological father, Clair Thomas Transue; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
