Gary Lavon Richards

Gary Lavon Richards, of Normangee, passed away on Monday April 10, 2017 at his home, surrounded by his loving family.

Gary was born in Commerce, Texas, May 6, 1943 to Johnny and Verona (Densmore) Richards, Sr.

Gary met and married the love of his life, Mary (Oxford) Richards on Jan 17, 1964. He spent many years working in the construction business for several different companies.

Gary leaves behind his wife of 53 years Mary as well as a brother Benny G. Richards of Greenville and a sister Patricia White also of Greenville. He also leaves behind his 18 nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews that he loved as his children.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Normangee.
