Lynda Glover

Lynda Glover, born on October 14, 1946, in Houston, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, in Madisonville, Texas. She was 78 years old.Throughout her life, Lynda was known for her love, compassion, and steadfast faith. She devoted herself to family and community, building a legacy defined by kindness and generosity. Her career at Normangee State Bank deeply touched the lives of many—whether guiding families through their first home loan, offering patient advice, or supporting local businesses, Lynda’s caring nature became an integral part of the Normangee community.Outside of work, Lynda’s adventurous spirit led her and her siblings on countless journeys, from mountain escapes to trips to Mexico. Her love of the Christmas season was also a hallmark of her life, as she brought her extended family together each year, creating cherished memories and joyous celebrations. She is lovingly remembered by her husband of 58 years, Billy Joe Glover of Normangee, Texas; her daughter, Joe Lynn Glover of Normangee, Texas; and her son, Jason Glover and his wife Brianne of Bryan, Texas. Lynda also leaves behind her grandson Tyler Jones and his wife Kaitlin of Liberty Hill, Texas, as well as her great-grandchildren McKinley and Hayden.May Lynda Glover’s memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved her. A Graveside Service will be held this Saturday, August 16, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Ten Mile Cemetery in Madisonville, Texas. Lunch and a time of remembrance will follow at the First Baptist Church in Normangee at 11:30 AM. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Lynda's life.
